Spin Casting Machine

Recommended Posts

I few pic for those of you that may be thinking of building a spin casting machine.  Some pics of exactly how it works so you dont have to reinvent the wheel.  The main shaft with platten and pulley is mounted through (2) 1 1/4 flat pillow blocks.  Then there is a secondary shaft below with a bearing that just pushes up on a shaft through the main pulley assemble which pushes on a steel plate and clamps the mold. Pretty simple actually.  I bet you could make one for about $200 with ebay and lots of junk around.
