Mercury Posted June 6, 2003 Report Share Posted June 6, 2003 I got a ultralite rod and cardinal reel from abu garcia. I have 2 problems. 1, the reel continualy has line twist problems. I have not had a problem with any of my other spinning gear. Even changed line 2x. 2, the abu rod broke the tip off just above the lower eye. Can I get a new eyelet and replace just that eye? I like the rod, But with the problems plauging the abu line Im about to give up on them. btw, I only landed 2 small panfish on it and it was not over stressed. Thanks all.
