mossy maker
Anybody ever used shellac as a primer? It is supposed to be a really good sealer that will take most any top coat well. My grandfather was a paint contractor and in the old days they used it a lot. Zinsser makes a shellac based primer that they advertise as being a good sealer for porous woods. I think I may try it unless somebody else has and would advise against it. Mossy Maker
