crawfish lure

Recommended Posts

While I appreciate the intrinsic inner glow of all sentient beings as much as the next guy, I say in the interest of balance in the universe, if you're going to build something with barbed treble hooks on it (Daichi Deathtraps come to mind), it only seems right to sacrifice a crawdad.

Should we put this to a vote? I say kill the craw :!:

okay guys, if any of you saw Skeeters reply to one of the other post, he told you I did my homework on crafish. Depending on where you live, the crafish will differ. Having said that, you will probably find that there are many different types of crafish in your state. I have not found the exact reason to why crafish change colors (and they do) but I think it is either temperature of clarity of the water. I live in Missouri and here is a link to the types of crafish found in my state. I had no idea there was soooooooooooo many different types, but it did open up my imagination to the paint schemes I could create. Go here to see:

lmao...........I think if you do a search on crayfish in your state you will find that there is more than the ones you see. Ever wonder why a full moon makes for good fishing?????? crawdads spawn every 30 days on a full moom......WOW!!! you say..........put your thinking cap on and now you can understand why sometimes fish are on crawdads and why they are on shad. Just a theory and soom food for thought!
