Center weighted bait, using cotter pins

Thanks for the nice comments about the other blank.

I think the pic says it all. What I really like about it, is that

there is no epoxy at the bottom of the lure and no drilled

holes to finish. I used two 1/8 oz. egg sinkers for weight.

This is a little harder to do than the other method, it may

be the best way.

What do you think??

And by the way Hughesy, the mind is the first thing to go,

I started making baits in late March of this year.

Skeet, tell me you're kiddin'. I thought Coley was a teenager. Now I know why his stuff is so good. The older the violin the sweeter the music!

Not that you young wipper snappers aren't putting out great work. I'm loving seeing the skill, craftsmanship, dedication, and ingenuity continue to grow in the great art of luresmithing. Keep it up guys. It does nothing but get better and better.
