kbkindle Posted May 3, 2007 Report Share Posted May 3, 2007 kb here have not been making any lures lately have been fishing about every day i can have been trying out some of the lures i made this winter have found out about 3 different designs i did need some more work and a couple that work just perfect. couple of those lures i made and painted flourescent colors have not caught any fish but i sure do like the tight wiggle and the depth. i dont want to lose them but i sure need to make some more in different colors kb Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You always have the option of repainting or adding paint to those flourescent lures...of course there may come a day when they'll make you glad that you left them those colors you don't like too, if you can have the confidence to keep throwing them every once in a while, especially on those days when you have the speed and depth part of a crank bite figued out. doomdart Posted May 5, 2007 Report Share Posted May 5, 2007 I have had some luck even with LM with flourescent type colors. I know most say they work better with smallies. Can't dispute that, but sometimes the LM seem to key on flourescent. I can't figure out why they'll chase some days and not others. Might have nothing to do with the color, but some other factor.
