  2. I pulled the base color pattern from another lure I had seen on here a while back and had been wanting to try. I then put some of my own ideas to it and this is what I ended up with. I'm hoping this will work well this spring in stained water.

  3. Went through the same thing. Now just use Spikeit and have not had any issues yet. They have even made me some new colors. Most of them are on the thick side but not so thick they can't be shaken. Price is about the best around. Oh and they have many colors not even on there site so if you don't see it call and ask the odds are they have it.

  9. Another option to check/test is to etch the aluminum. You can actually etch with a 9V battery and a Q-tip.... google DIY etching.... a guy in my office makes knives, he's ethced the blades with his logo and it looks pretty damn good. You'll want/need to do it on a flat or cylindrical surface - but may be an option if you're looking for something VERY SUBTLE and hand work with a dremel isn't you're cup of tea. J.

  11. I use quite a bit of stabilizer, esp on colors like smoke, blue, light melon, and in the pearl hi-lite powders. Besides helping the colors stay true, it also lets you run the pour temp up higher which = easier pouring of small cavities and better spout flow (at least when hot pot pouring). Call Dave at LC. He should be able to give you an upper limit on the amount of stabilizer to add.

  12. berkley Camo is one of the hardest colors to make. (at least for me) Ive been playing a little, its close but no cigar yet 1 cup plastic 4 drops of moss green 3 drops of watermelon 2 drops oxblood now the key I found to give it the brownish effect was the brown Fleck and the gold fleck added into it. I only had .035 and it should be fine fleck Like I said close but not right yet Delw
