Hey all, Just wanted to put up a good word about Enforcer bait molds, I'm a hobby guy who just bought his first ever machined aluminum 2 pc mold, a 2 cavity grub, and the thing works awesome, the order process was easy, and I had the mold 5 days after order. Not affiliated with the company, just a guy who appreciates good service when he gets it and is willing to spread the word.

You can pick up perfectly acceptable plastic sheets at Staples or any office supply store. Fellowes binding covers, midweight. Model # 52043. They form quickly, yet are plenty durable. 25 pack of 8-1/2 x 11 is $17. You can sometimes get 4 sets per sheet.

When you are experimenting with colors don't forget to write down everything that you do; as you do it. That way if what you are doing works out, you can repeat it. www.novalures.com

Each vendor's colorants vary in strength. You do have to experiment a little bit.. As far as black goes, I've found Lurecrafts (18 drops per cup) to be by far the strongest and M-F's (55 drops per cup) the weakest. That's just for black and cannot be used a rule of thumb for their other colorants. Bear's and Del-Marts fall slightly below Lurecraft. All four of these vendors make great products. Some offer colors that others don't. Some off products that each other don't. Welcome and start saving your money as this is very addicting. I would take 10% of what you spend and put it aside.............for a good rehab or divorce lawyer.........maybe both ! The search feature also has a wealth of information that can save you plenty of $$$$$$ and trial and error.

Thanks Nova and yes I did check out your site that's when I realized I was on point with the 8 ozs my pour matches your sticks almost perfect, nice site by the way and nice work. Since this was my first pour with it I didn't add salt but now I'm confident with the recipe. Thanks again. Chris

You're not going to believe me but I would not ever buy a quart of plastic. I started with a gallon and within two weeks I ordered 5 gals. You will go through it a lot faster than you think. You will ruin more plastic than you imagine while you are in the initial learning curve. www.novalures.com

Oh yes.....the significant other. I could go on FOREVER about that! Here's a good "don't" that pretty much says it all for the newbies....... Don't EVER invade her space or use ANY of her tools!

Wild Boar's Blood Stick Formula (A hog hunter's version of Ox Blood) Plastisol 120 ml Heat Stabilizer 2 ml. LC Oxblood 12 drops LC Pumpkinseed 6 drops LC Red 2 drops Black Flake 1/8 tsp (Optional) I add about 5 teaspoonful of ground salt to this formula
