  1. Made a new fluid bed all self contained.got tired of dragging airpump hoses ,electrical cord ect out each time. Everything all in one now. Wasn't the cheap route but I like this much better for storage.

  2. This is a Pike/Musky blank that I purchased from a company in Canada. I used Abalone Inlay for a pretty unique flash. Long process and very expensive but it was a lot of fun expiramenting!

  3. This is the 5th generation of my ongoing project... The Slip Crank This one is a medium diver (7ft).. Carved from PVC.. Painted with Krylon.. Tule scales.. D2T topcoat THE CONCEPT: An "un-losable", "un-spitable" crank bait... The line through design means the hook is not attached to the lure... We all know a crank bait floats at rest, so in the event of a snag, you stop reeling and the Slip Crank floats up the line for retrieval .... You lose the hook, not the lure...... Also to this credit, the detached hook means a fish can spit the lure during a fight and lose any advantage provided by the leverage of said lure To get the idea, here's an old video from the second model I ever made FIELD TESTING AND DEVELOPMENTS: First and foremost, in almost 2 years of making and fishing these Slip Cranks, I have not lost one yet.. I throw them into any cover with confidence, sometimes even purposely looking for a stump to snag just so I can watch my little creation do its job Second, there have been plenty of developments, but none as big as the "tuning eye"...... We all know how to tune a crank bait by bending the line tie.. But what if there is no line tie??.... I tune my slip cranks from the rear... The hook (and bead) rest on a wire eye located behind the exit point... By bending this eye left or right, I can change the pull angle of the hook.. Effectively tuning the bait Before this discovery, I almost gave up on the idea.. I could only get 1 out of every 4 or 5 baits to run true.... But now the game has changed!

  5. Did know where this should go. I've been doing a lot of handline fishing lately. I think tehse drag weight will work better on rocky river bottoms than my slinky weights:

  6. What happened to the post for free sample plastic. Looking for it since I did comment on it. If you moved it please tell me where to.

  7. Yes, I did not see anything wrong with giving away plastic that was in a response to a post. We get free samples and discuss them. No one is forcing anyone to buy anything correct. If the product is good it gets good ratings and if poor the same. Just read how argumentative post are pulled and bickering is pulled. Did not think trying free samples was either one. Guess free samples and asking for a review is to much to ask sometimes. I respect the companies offer not because it was free, but because it was asking for the hobbyist opinion in return. Showing some great customer service in my opinion.

  9. Sigh. Since no one knows for sure, I will have to chock it up to some kind of government tracking conspiracy.

  14. I've used Mold Max, but not the AeroMarine. I'd do a little experiment. 1. Cut off a 5 cc corner or edge (far away from the pour hole/vents/cavities) from the AeroMarine mold 2. Place it a very small 15-20cc tupperware container/cup (those tupperware containers for condiments might be a good example) 3. Mix 5 cc total of the Mold Max (silicone+catalyst per mold max instructions) 4. Pour the 5cc of Mold Max on top of the 5cc AeroMarine piece 5. wait unti the Mold Max is fully cured 6. examine how well they bonded

  17. Bob, You could try preheating your aluminum molds to prevent rapid cooling of the plastic.
