  6. I just received the Baitmold V23. 21/2" aluminum ribbed paddle tail which is just like the keitch. Shoots good. I agree with Franks thought of local but just too much of a cost difference for me.

  7. I have ordered from Avid twice. Both times without an issue. However, I had one place tell me I had placed a big order. Since then I make it a point to send an email and ask if a company has X number of a particular item. Once I get a reply I order.

  8. I have painted eyes with Createx over Powder paint and then baked it. The paint came out o hard the I couldn't chip the eye off. I haven't tried clear PP over that so I have no info.

  10. Don't you normally heat set your Createx paint? If so, clearing with D2T isn't a problem however, I don't think that clearcoating with clear powder should be a problem either as long as you don't burn the clear coat. I have never done this with powder clear over Createx, so I'm not going to say go for it. Try it on a small part and post your results here.

  11. BobP here makes balsa baits, and he sometimes uses Solarez UV resin to seal. I've used it as a top coat, but never tried it as a sealer. It is much thicker than super glue, so it might give you a one coat paintable surface.
