  1. I am going to break out a big sheet of paper one night to practice. I really need to, but first I need to build a few work benches and maybe a paint booth.

  4. They look great, If using stencils don't spray at the edge, spray on the stencil the over spray will create the gill or fin. I don't use closed in stencils (stencil material all the way around) in most cases. I like this effect better. For spots/kill dots I like free hand. You get a light over spray that fades out lightly. Something to practice and I agree with AA, dots and lines of various sizes will help you learn a lot.

  6. Funny how that works. I have some soft baits of my own creation that I vary the amount of salt or the hardness of the plastic for specific purposes. That is a benefit of pouring your own. Far too often we think there there is only one way to do it but in reality it is a matter of personal preference.

  7. I lived in Spokane for many years, 17 or so, but moved to Louisiana with a Job and later moved to Utah to help family. Wife kind of wants to move back to Spokane area, but ...... I don't remember the show name anymore, I know it was not the Bighorn show, but one of the fishing shows they use to put on. I think it was at the fairgrounds, but it might have been at the convention center. You had a booth in it, but that was several years ago. I have not seen a real fishing show in quite some time. We got into a minor debate on the "fish-n-fool knot", but it was nothing that big. Strangely enough, I am not on facebook. I leave that for my wife. Kind of hard to complain about her being on it all the time if I was on it also. ROFLOL We can PM on this site, and when I visit my son to fish Rock Lake or Roosevelt, maybe we could meet up and I could help you if you have specific questions. Take care, Steve

  8. I agree with Bob and Anglinarcher. The paint is shot. You need new paint and a soak job is a must. Install the .03 needle and tip. .02 is to small and is mostly used for thinned lacquer and inks.
