  1. Wow. Nine year old thread. Let's try this. Which EXACT molds are you looking for? Tell us that and we'll help you out. You can modify most molds to use a screw lock.

  2. Just so you know, "frogs hair" silicone really doesn't exist. Fine cut silicone is different than fine cut rubber, the fine cut rubber has more strands for the same width. Fine cut silicone is thinner, about half the thickness of a regular tab but it still have the same amount of strands. I mention that as a lot of people that never used it think it has thinner strands and more of them and when they get the stuff it isn't what they wanted.

  5. https://fishingskirts.com/ you might give those folks a call. I see they have rubber by the roll. It looks to be scored but they may be able to get what you are looking for. I have ordered lots of silicone tabs and some of there rubber tabs. They ship quickly and have good prices.

  6. I use one of these little mixers for epoxy. Let her run for 5 minutes or so (depending which epoxy you use) and it comes out mixed perfect with no bubbles. It has a little chunk of steel that rolls around the sides and mixes everything great.

  7. I use the lacquer version a lot. When sprayed over white you get a blue sheen on the white. The darker the background color is the more pronounced the blue color. Over black you will get a beautiful iridescent blue. In the picture you can see the colors it produces over black starting with green on the tail to blue to red to gold.

  8. I have about ten remaining but lose about two per summer due to snagging in rocks (part of the Laker game). I'm getting paranoid as I have only a few left. The ghost color out proroduces most other colors. Though perch is a close second. It sinks like a rock and vibrates in a wonderful fashion when pulled. The smaller version is still made (65) and on the ghost color is somewhat transparent. These baits so closely imitate the lake trout natural baiitfish prey I think they can't resist... nourishes white jigs hands down. I can make a mold but am new to this lure making game so desired advice...

  9. It looks like a fairly standard lipless shad, though it may be optimized for vertical jigging, since the line ties seem a touch back when compared to a typical casting lipless. So what attributes made it a great jigging lure. how fast did it sink, did it sink nose down , Rattle?. I have been playing lots with laminated balsa lipless lately, that method should be able to clone the performance pretty easily.
