  1. Absolutely no reason to use enamel. There are plenty of water based paints available. Metallic s wont spray through most .030-.050 guns anyway. Use of pearls and dusting them will give a sparkly look. flake in clear too.

  2. Reminds me of cutting willows as a kid out here in the Intermountain West for the trout streams. I caught lots of fish then, and I see no reason it would not work now. I just fish for bigger fish, in bigger water, now and need the extra horse power. LOL

  7. Speaking of colors. If you have colorant for soft plastic worm making you can use the clear paint and colorant and make your own colors on the fly. I do this ALOT.

  9. When I use the Folk art I thin with the usual alcohol water glycerin thinner but I also pour thinned paint through cheese cloth to remove lumps. A little extra effort may save frustration later.

  10. I don’t think there’s a topcoat out there that won’t be affected by dragging on rock all day.
