  1. I have had trouble with the Worth rings myself. The swivels are great but the rings blow out for me when putting on blades. Allen

  2. If I understand the question correctly, I use a band saw. If your talking about the hinge joint on say an MS Slammer? I make a wooden swimbait rat. After turning the body on the lathe, I leave the square of wood on each end of the body. First it goes to the table saw to have the lipslot cut and then to the band saw to make the 90* joint cut. No jig required. Then cut off the two ends and you have your two body halves with the cuts made. I make the cuts when it's in the square form on the left. If I misunderstood, my apologies.

  3. I never use softner on my bass baits. I sometimes use it for panfish baits. Remember if you use softner, the baits will be easier to tear and probably wear out quicker. Not something I want on a creature bait...not such a big deal on a tiny panfish bait that I can make a bunch of really quick. I'm pretty sure the responses you get will be 50/50 !

  4. I use lots of softener. if you add salt to the mix then you need to add softener. if you are happy with the softness of your plastisol and do not add salt ,, then you do Not need softener.
