  1. X2 21xdc. Avoid the aggravation and use stencils for the details.

  2. Lurepartsonline ships internationally, not sure what the shipping would be though. I bought some of their 2 mil poly bags in 4"x4" and 6"x4" and have been happy with them. Estimated shipping to Germany would be $15. Not sure if this helps, but its something to check out.

  3. I prefer higher pressure to break mist down to smaller pieces and use a stencil. Distance from bait and thinning paint also helps a lot.

  4. Which Paasche are you using and what size needle? Looks like some of the problem may be holding the airbrush to close but hard to tell. Spraying dots freehand takes a lot of practice and trigger control to prevent blowout (blasting of paint). Practice on the back of a plastic spoon to help learn trigger comtrol.

  5. I had a customer that told me the same thing. Clearcoat your jig with Devcon 2 Ton.

  6. I use a silicone baking mat on top of my work bench, use the anchor cups and have not had a problem. The silicone makes a nice barrier against the cold wood on the bench. I have been shooting in my garage in Wisconsin, I do have a 60k btu propane forced air heater and it does a good job making it comfortable to pour baits with the door and window open when it’s in then 20’s outside (I don’t go out if it’s colder than that!). I also hold my molds in front of the heater while my plastic is heating to warm them up, works good.

  7. I wonder if it's salt water that causes it or is it dragging in the sand every once in a while causing it.I don't fish salt water, and my jigs looses its shine when bouncing off a sandy bottom when fishing walleye.

  8. I often use slightly thinned Devcon Two Ton epoxy but there are choices as long as the coating is durable, hard, and waterproof.

  11. I called mine an Alsenko, and was shocked when I got a cease and desist letter from Yamamoto. Mine were hand pours and I sold VERY few. LOL Anyway, changed the name to Stick Bait.

  12. Yeah I will never get it. I build my own rods, make my own jigs, pour my own weights, custom paint my own lures, used to make my own plastics but I don't have the time anymore... I'll never understand the feeling of catching something on my own lure..... There is a limit to what I am willing to waste my time on though, and making an ice jig that I can buy for pennies is it. I buy them by the thousand and paint. There was a thread someone made a while back about making their own split rings, you should give that a shot too!

  13. You won’t be disappointed that mold shoots great and just flat out catches.

  14. I have a few hand pour molds that work just fine. For me, the key is how open the sprue hole is, so the cavities can fill quickly without the sprue cooling and shutting off. I have a friend who bought this hand pour mold from Lurecraft, and he just poured several dozen baits with no problems. https://www.lurecraft.com/7-1_4-Sink-O-4-CAV-ALUM/productinfo/5XK-SB725-4/

  15. Thanks for the complements guys. Cadman they are primarily used for white bass but they will catch anything that swims. smalljaw more is less is some times right. I was fishing with a friend who is too lazy to retie a jig. We were catching large female white bass and they were really working the jigs over. I "wore out" a couple and retied. He kept on fishing. I finally went to the front of the boat and took his jig. I counted the hairs. He only had 7 left on the jig but was still catching fish.
