  1. For me, the lures need continual exposure to the UV light to cure. I have not used Alumi-UV but I have used Solarez Dual Cure resin for years. Be sure your UV lights are the right frequency for the resin you're using. Just because a light is UV doesn't mean it's what that resin needs.

  2. I've done jigs up to 48 oz and Jigs up to 10 and 1/2 in Long in some of my fluid bed cups. If you build your fluid beds and cups properly you can easily do larger fishing jigs in them.

  4. Actually that's a twist on something I heard from a designer in Bulgaria I sometimes work with. He says around where he lives they say, "The better is your 4x4 the further you have to walk to find a tractor when you get stuck."

  6. You can put a small bit of epoxy in the hole with a toothpick and just put a piece of clear scotch tape over it until it cures. Then you can slowly peel the tape off. The tape helps level out the fill in the hole. Edges may stll show but at least the bait will be sealed and it won't pop out. This problem can be caused by oil or dirt from you hands. But I have learned that devcon levels out best when the environment in your shop is between 70 to 74 deg. and the humidity is at least 60% or better. If the air is too dry it can cause the epoxy to cure quickly and draw up as it cures. If the temp is too cold then the epoxy becomes too thick to spread out evenly while it is on your wheel. If it is too high then it starts to cure too quickly and you could have the same problem. Everyone needs to remember that applying epoxy clearcoats is a skill, just like painting. 7. Dodge owners don't have to walk as far to find a tractor when they get stuck. LOL.
