  1. Yes, if you use a TRANSPARENT red acrylic paint or a red dye.

  2. OK a this point I lube once a session, looks like I should increase that. I have gotten into pre-heating , the powder paint toaster oven is awesome for that.

  3. I really don't know as I've never done this in my limited experience but I was wondering if you used some transparent paint. I do know that it allows the underlying color to show through if you paint over another color. I often use a transparent color over silver paint. It works pretty good. So, for example, transparent blue over a lure I just painted with silver paint looks like blue silver, if that makes any sense.

  4. I have made several. They don’t last very long and are dangerous as a cocked pistol.

  5. Yeah, you could make one if you have a decent lathe. Maybe a CNC with some training. Otherwise, I would buy one. It’s not worth putting together a turkey baster injector at the risk of what 350 degree heated plastic can do to your body. We are talking 3rd degree burns. The few pics I’ve seen aren’t real pretty. Just my .02

  6. There's several different options. for injectors. I really like both my single 6 ounce & my twin 6 ounce dual injector. I also had a basstackle 10 ouncer & it was a good one too.

  7. Might want to try preheating your dual injector, also. Not sure if this has been mentioned or of your process. Blending block too.

  8. Ha! Yes, I saw the pool comments on the video site, amused me. I think the maturity of the water added character to the videos. I agree, 40 degrees or even 45 would work for 4 - 8 feet depth. I find making round lips rather tedious and difficult to control symmetry, but it is just a matter of taking care. I design all my lips with square lips, it doesn't make much difference, but many better fishermen here would disagree. Frequency of the waggle is all about lip width; narrower = faster. Videos 3 & 4 look like a tow eye position problem. The lip length and tow eye are a matched combination. You might be able to fix by simply trimming the lip shorter. Having your own test pool is a big plus. Gradually trim and test, and make notes of the changes. As mentioned by others; symmetry is important and could be your problem. I stand over a square tiled floor to examine by eye. Place a 6" rule across the flat of the lip, this will magnify any angles that might be causing problems. Dave
