Fellows I want to try and make some of the older type wooden 4 1/2" or 5" 1/2 oz. devil horse. cannot find them anymore. If there are any bait makers on here who already make the devil horse prop style bait...Send me a message I may need to buy a dozen or so. Questions 1. Where can I get the wooden blanks already close to the size and shape? 2. What type of wood is it? 3. When I paint them, do I need to seal the paint with an epoxy or lure sealent? Some of the best ones I have the paint is nearly gone on them... Also the better ones have the rounded prop blades on front and back... Should I use a thru wire design or use the screw in eyelets for the front and back to tie to and to hang the back hooK? Thanks BC

Does anyone know where I may purchase Coffin shaped blades to build my own Chatterbaits...I dont want the rounded style like they sell at Barlow's and some of the other on line sites. I have no intentions of selling the bait once completed...Just want to use for my personal use. 50-100 blades would be perfect...

I have the head of the original chatterbait I was wondering if anyone makes a jig hook with an extra long shaft that will work with a doit mold head I think its a sparkie head...I have been making mine like the origibnal chatterbait and its a pain finding the clip that hooks to the hook eye and the open part that you hook the blade to. The new chaterbaits are all one hook design and the blade hooks into the hookeye Thanks Barron Culter

Anyone know whre I can find this skip material...It is like the Blue in Picasso jigs I think it is labled #50. They want 5$ for 5 skirts..I want to make my own at a larger quantity..I dont think Fishingskirts nor Barlows, stamina have the material that color...It is a bright shiney blue BC

Got a new Pasche Vl double action to custom paint Spinnerbait heads...Not sure which AIr tip and needle do I use ...Never used AIrbrush before..I notice the air tips have numbers on them #3 and #5 and I think a #1...also Came with three needles and they have marking on the ends....Help me out if you can Thanks BC
