  1. Thanks for your advice guys, didn´t realize temprature was that important.
  2. I have been poring for a while now, with remelted soft baits. It has been working pretty good, but i bought some LC plastisol and i just can´t get the two layers of plastic to bond in the mold. i pour pretty much one color after the other. Also the baits come out feeling very greasy, anyone have any ideas how to work this problem out? Maybe just buy another brand?
  3. Hey Jed, i think 7rpm is a bit high, have a look at the http://www.electricmotorwarehouse.com/rotisserie_motor.htm , i use this one for my wheel, i can run 200 Stalker gliders at the time with this motor.
  4. thanks guys sounds good,i will have to give it a try.I make alot of gliders hopefully this will save me some time on the sanding.
  5. When using this method will i need to wetsand the blank to remove the woodrise before dipping?
  6. Thanks guys.I was planning to make wheel in the tutorial.I just wasn?t sure about how to secure the baits. But i will go with the screw/dowel thing.
  7. I make muskiesize jerkbaits and was planning to build me a wheel for topcoating them. Was wondering on the best way to attache the baits to the wheel without having to worry about the baits falling of.So my question is how do YOU do it?
  8. Well it was a succes,i heated the resin and hardener before mixing and the result was great. It didn?t go white and mixed much easier. No more clouding the paint jobs .Thanks everyone for your help. This was never an issue before when i just hung the baits to dry,but since i built a wheel it has been a big one. Thanks again.
  9. Thanks guys i will try these tips tomorrow.I do mix it for atleast three min,but it turns out really white way beyond a little cloudy.Well i will see tomorrow when i?ve played around with the hairdryer.
  10. Thanks i will give it a try. When you mix the ET does it not turn a bit white?Do you think i mix to hard?
  11. When i mix my ET it becomes white with airbubbles,as i coat the baits and turn them these bubbles remain and cloud my paintjob. Is there a way to get them out or am i stiring the ET to hard?or am i putting it on to thick?
  12. Thanks Skeeter i?ll give it a shot.Hopefully it works out ok.
  13. The problem is not when i topcoat the baits. My problem is when trying to seal the wood with epoxy before basecoating and painting. When sealing i thin the epoxy with 6-1 with acetone. But it turns out with big ugly bubbles.I wanted to try this to get a longer lasting bait, but maybe i should just stick with the regular basecoat and go with a thicker topcoat.
  14. I have been trying to seal my wood jerkbaits with epoxy. However i have been experiencing major problems with bubbles,is there a way to get around this? These are big bubbles not the kind you breath on in your topcoat.
