    Hi all I havent visited in a while and new site looks great! I was going thru the old pics and noticed lots are missing. Yes I did notice that mine were some of the ones missing. What happened? "No photo available" Are they gone forever?

  3. Hi all, I've used Createx but awhile back I started using Liquitex acrylic. I think the paint is darker and seems to spray easier. More consistant. They also seem to have a larger selection of colors. I havent heard anyone say anything about this brand. It's just another paint option. Cost about $2.99 for a 2oz. bottle. David

  6. Hello, I cant understand how to post pics directly to the gallery. I read the thread, go to gallery, select upload, and thats my problem, cant find uplaod, only latest pics upload. I had direct link to gallery and it said not allowed in this area. Any help appreciated
  7. I'm just a trial and error guy myself, but I'm up to about 70-30 on my working lures to basswood kindling ratio. I almost always put my weight at the lowest point for crankbaits. Poppers and spitters midway or more towards the back end. Hope this was of some help. Chistmas is coming up and non working baits (minus the hooks) make great looking tree ornamates.

  9. Hi all I found the site recently and had to join. Already know a few members from Carver Comp site. It sounds like you have a great group. Everyone seems very informative and helpful. I'll post some pics of my lures soon. David

I tried nails, dowel rods, all kinds of things but I started painting the eye color I wanted then simply covered it up with a stick on dot 1/4 inch "color coding label" availabe at "office supply stores". Then paint lure as ususal, peel off sticker. I still make the pupil with a small rounded head brad or tac
