  1. I have been pouring MF Supersoft for about 5 years now. Wouldn't think of using any other. It's always consistent, needs little or no mixing, and takes all of my scents and salt extremely well. Good Stuff !!
  2. I just got a free sample (4-pak) in the mail. Looks like a pretty good bait to me.
  3. I just use a strap wrench and dispense into 1/2 gal containers because I premix and store my colors in 1/2 gal rubbermaid containers w/pour spouts.
  4. You could always say " It's just my own homemade version of a great bait designed by ____________ " Then the designer gets the credit.... which, in all fairness, is only right !
  5. Just try the M-F supersoft and all your problems will go away.
  6. Regardless of what other manufacturers do and regardless of the relative amounts of money involved, it is still a matter of honesty and personal integrity.
  7. What happpened to just telling the truth because it's the right thing to do ?? Not only is being truthful morally correct, but there would be some severe legal problems ( FRAUD ) from obtaining money under fals pretenses.
  8. I've got that one very close, if not spot on. I'm at my office right now so I'll PM it to you this evening when I get back to my "other office".
  9. plt..... check your pm's. I couldn't connect w/your e-mail address. Good luck w/the color.
  10. daaaammn, cwenbass..... I feel for ya !!! If you aren't totally confused by now with all of this conflicting advice you deserve to be !!!! Ya' know what, though,....... every bit of it is good ! What it all comes down to is that it takes time to learn this stuff and that most of us learned by trial and error and lots of practice. Take what has been said in this thread and use what seems logical to you and go for it........ practice, practice, practice. Good luck and don't let us confuse you !

I've been using a crawfish based "butter" for several years. I can add it at any point in the melting process and it does not cook out or discolor the plastic. It is called "Hot Sauce" and is produced in California. Good stuff !!!
  12. They don't have the amount of fine detail that a cnc mold will provide, but many baits do not require that much detail. The finish and color of a bait poured in an rtv mold can be vry nearly as good if you are experienced and careful.
  13. jlt, I can't tell by the color chart on Poor Boy's site, but I do have a ringer for the old Zoom cucumber seed. It was a B***** to match, but if you want to try it, I'll either send you a sample bait or share the recipe with you. Let me know your preference. IT CATCHES FISH !!!!
  14. I have over 200 LC molds and my only regret is that some of them are beginning to wear out. Salt has been the biggest destroyer, but after thousands (yes, thousands) of pours I can't complain. The cnc aluminum molds produce some beautiful baits and I will continue to phase out my LC molds with aluminum replacements, but only because I'm a perfectionist. As was previously stated. the fish don't seem to know the difference !!.
  15. Good to see the site back up and running ......... I've been gone awhile and freaked when I clicked on my "favorites" and ------ nuthin' !! Hope everything gets restored, there's a wealth of info here.
