  1. here is another trick you might try with the tap method. I found some small table spoon size strainers at WalMart, the fine mesh holds the powder paint really nice. I then took the handle and bent it over the top. when I want to two tone I just run my jig through the first color and then tap the handle of my strainer for the amount of color I want to add as my second color. the color combos are endless try it.

  3. Pop try and take one of the 4/0 hooks you have and heat it up before putting it in the mold? sounds to me like the collar might be to small for that size of hook. I've had the same problem. good luck!! brian

  5. I like medium. I think it's the best all around fiberguard. if I want it stiffer I just trim them down a little. for softer,I cut a few strands out.

  10. I've got an old Rebel Fastrac Wee R that needs a new lip. it looks like a pretty easy fix. does anybody out there do this kind of repair?? any help would be great. thanks brian

I was walleye fishing the other day throwing a smithwick rogue, getting fouled in the weeds that were high up, then I thought maybe you can shave the lip so it doesn't dive so deep. my question is??? can this be done?? what I would like is for the lure to dive no more than maybe 10" or less. any help on this would be great. thanks brian
  14. Haebar I tried the Matzuo but thought they were to soft,I did like the lite wire they just bent to easy. as for the hook I like the Mustad Ultra Points. Shortys hook sales sells them for the best price I seen. brian
