Working on the production mold as we speak.
-
Betcha that has a "butt shakin" action; lol:lol:
-
Now that's what I call unique. Great job.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys. Been working on a jerkbait lately. I'll post that one soon.
-
Excellent work.

The trick to reducing the "cold cracks" is to heat a pot of scrap rubber and pour it into the mold to pre-heat it. I don't like to put my molds into the oven to pre-heat; I'm more interested in getting just the cavities to heat up.

Thanks Swamp. I prefer to "blend" my laminations. I like the effect it gives; to me it's more natural.
-
There's nothing wrong with that Swamp. Would make a nice dropshot.

Actually the back is basically green. It's called green smoke. The picture really doesn't show it well. But I'll make almost any color you want. The production mold should be ready in a couple of days. Send me a PM with the colors you want or go to my site and email it to me.
Thanks for the comment.

Thanks Willy.

Thanks guys. Doing this effect is a long drawn out affair. If these were offered for sale you would think yammies were a deal; lol. It's very time consuming to do this effect. These were poured with the same formula as the sticks. No metal is involved.

It's a piece of pine that is sealed with clear fingernail polish.

Thanks Mike.

I like things that are "outside of the box". The lure looks really interesting. Maybe you should try it without the lip and the line tie on the top like a lipless bait. Looking at the shape it might just have a subtle wiggle.
-
I have had a few requests from folks for them. I think I might put some on Ebay for the 4th.
-
No problem Jim; thanks for the heads up. Nice baits by the way. Is that a core?
-
Nice looking baits. There is no easy way. You just practice and keep at it. You will develop a rythem as you go along and that's the best you can hope for. It takes about twice as long to pour laminates.

Looks very nice Alex. Is that a floater or a sinker?

Interesting choice of colors. I like it.

Colors are one thing but highlites and pearls are the deal. Nice job.
-
Thanks David. Those are the 3D eyes from Lurecraft. Got some of the shads up on my website.
-
Thanks for the comments guys. All of my shads are 3 color pours. The third color is what you are seeing.

Cal;
I had no plans on selling them, it was just an exersize in pouring; but I have since sold some through the PM. Not sure about the site, but I might put some on Ebay to see what happens.

I like it Swamp. Looks like a cartoon inchworm. Very cool.
