  1. Hey guys, I've been out of the game for several years and now my buddy wants me to pour some swimbaits for him. When I was pouring there were basically two choices of plastic. MF and Calhouns. I used regular MF for the few swimbaits I poured back then, My question is are some of these newer brands better for swimbaits? I know this is just opinion based, but I would love to here what you all thought on this matter. Thanks in advance. D.J.
  2. Is anyone on here pouring this bait? It is the Kinami D-bug (Norries Bug) knock off. I have basically gotten out of pouring due to other obligations and I would love to find a source for these. I am tired of paying a little over $1 a bait for these. Let me know if you pour this. Thanks. D.J.

    Scent ?

Yes, add right before you pour. It seems to be more potent when doing it this way. As far as scents go, there is no better on the market than Upper Hand Scents. Top notch service and amazing scents.

  6. Does anyone on here pour the 4.5" basstackle lizard. http://www.basstackle.com/4_5_Curl_tail_lizard_mold_p/lizard4.5z10cav.htm If so, I would like to buy a couple of 100 packs in a couple of colors. Thanks in advance.

  8. That is a huge order Please tell me they pre paid
  9. Does anyone have any experience with the pressure pot from L.C.? I am toying with getting back into the game, but I would like to focus on twin tail grubs and some creature baits that are injection molds. Just wondering if this would be the way to go for production or not. Thanks. D.J.
  10. Are any of these still available? PM sent
  11. That is exactly what is happening. A few of mine however, were quite a bit bigger than that.
  12. I do not have any pics of this, but it could be the salted baits. My buddies house has a good little dock with lilly pads and there are always quite a few largemouth spawning there every spring. He fishes them pretty heavy with my stick baits, and there are probably 4 or 5 discarded baits under his dock that are ballooned up like that. The fluke I found in my boat was heavily salted too, so I guess it could be the salt/plastic mix. I noticed a real Senko that I found the other day that had been in the water was not expanded, just bleeched out really bad. I am not really worried about the fish eating these, due to the size of the baits, but I really don't want to see a bunch of junk in the water if you know what I mean. I might have to do a little experiment with a Senko and one of my baits and then take some pics to show you guys. I am not really sure how long they take to get that big, but I guess we will see.
  13. I have a question for you guys on here. First off, I haven't been pouring for almost 2 years, but before that I had my own little hand pour company and poured for about 10 years. I have used M-F for all but my first year of pouring baits. I have noticed though that the stick baits that I used to pour, would end up swelling up to about 2 feet in length when left in water and I found a fluke behind my boat seat that must have been 20" long!!! I guess my question is does this newer "Green Plastic" eliminate that problem? I just bought a house on a lake and I really do not want to look at 2lb. senkos all day long! I am also concerned about what the long term problems might be as far as leaving these baits in the water. I tried searching for this, but after 8 or 9 pages, I just flat out got bored with it. LOL. Thanks.
  14. Here is Basstackle's mold: Skinny Dipper This will pour a nicer bait compared to the silicone molds.
