    Tungsten

Has anyone tried the tungsten powder mixed with resin to pour spinnerbait heads. If so, how did it work, how long did it take to dry, can you use it in a do-it, and is it paintable? Thanks
  2. I have hooks on it but are not glued yet. Just put them to check see how it floats. I didn't put any weight in it because it's a rather small plug and it sits low enough in the water with just the hooks.
  3. Just carved my first topwater plug. Did a water check and it wants to sit just slightly to one side. It looks to be carved even. What is the best way to fix?
  4. I really didn't know exactly how it should sit before the clear coat. It sat pretty low in the water but I just thought that was how it should be. I didn't think that the gel would add that much weight. How should the bait sit before the finish is applied?
  5. Do you use the nail polish as a sealer and finisher or do you use something else with it? Thanks
  6. I just finished my first ever crankbait. Came out pretty good. (At least.....I'm proud of it) Ploblem is that it sat perfectly in the water before I finished it with Flex Coat. Now the bait actually sinks. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? Thanks

    Bills

Where can I get some Lexan or computer board to make bills from without having to order off the net? Can I get this at home depot, office depot, etc. ? Thanks
  8. This may sound like a stupid question, but I'm new to this. Wouldn't there be a chance a the epoxy not holding and losing the hook, weight, and cotter pin while fighting a fish or if snagged and trying to free the lure?
  9. So, is the round end of the cotter pin what you use for your hook attachment?
  10. How exactly is the best way and place to put weights into a homemade wooden crankbait? Also, what is the best thing to use for weights?
