  1. BTW, I really like moores lures... never had a problem with 'em. My orders usually arrive in two-three days!! I would reccomend them for anybody who makes musky lures!!
  2. The hairs are LONG!!....lol. The hair around the base of the tails are a little 'fuzzier', and are around two inches, and the longer hairs on the end are around 6 1/2 inches long. here's a pic...
  3. I have made some musky baits out of skunk tail and i actually really like the stuff. It has pretty nice action in the water. I get mine from moores lures (mooreslures.com), will cost you about $3.50 a tail. Hope this helps! let 'em go let 'em grow, Squirrlyburt
  4. I am in need of some large (#8 to be exact) Fluted Blades painted pink. I have not been able to find these anywhere, so if someone knows of somewhere i can get some, or wants to do some for me, i would really appreciate it!! Let 'em go let 'em grow, Squirrlyburt
  5. I'm looking for a new or used weagle if anybody has one that they want to sell me for a reasonable price please send me an email at Alex_Roznowski@hotmail.com. Thanks guys....Alex.
  6. musky_man, Thanks for the tips. I tried one and it turned out pretty good, but there is still room for improvement . Thanks again, Squirrlyburt
  7. It doesn't look like it should be that hard, thanks for the link.
  8. Does anybody have any good tips on how to powder paint a large musky blade? Can it even be done? If anybody knows how to do it i would really like to know. Thank You, Squirrlyburt
  9. thanks alot guys, that information has been very helpful.
  10. thanks alot . Does anybody know a good company to buy blades from other than stamina that has a little better selection of blades for musky lures? (i'm looking for some heavier copper colorado blades and some painted fluted indiana blades to be more specific.) Any help would be appreciated.
  11. After about a year of thinking about it, i finally decided to order some components for making some musky bucktails. I am really a beginner at this, so if anybody has any good ideas, tips, etc. for me it would be much appreciated. Thanks alot!
  12. Thanks for the info. Would the process be the same if you want to tie the hair onto a coil instead of a hook itself?
  13. I am just getting into some lure building, and i have no idea how to tie Deer hair to put it on a Bucktail spinner. If anyone can explain the process, give me a good link, or any other information that would help me get started with this it would be much appreciated.
