I have been having decent luck with Reapers lately. I just got a mold, so I am pouring a bunch. Smoke with red and blue flake, and light purple with red flake both seem hot right now. Purple in the evenings, and the smoke during brighter conditions. Pumpkin works okay, but not as well as the smoke and purple. Green or blue didn't do much. The reaper seems to be a great fall bait, as it is quite large, and lends itself to a slower presentation. I let it flutter down slowly, and move it a couple of times a minute at the most. THe bait seems to have a lot of action while just falling. It is also effective, because I can really work suspended fish well with it. I have also tried dead sticking it, and the smoke and purple ones are very effective. THe pumpkin must blend in with our mud, as it never got a strike while laying on the bottom.
I am also having good luck with small stick worms in blue, with a Methiolate tip, and in pumpkin with a bright red tip.
