  1. It is very lightly spraying a color down over another color. You have to play around with colors to get the tone your after. I have fogged 2 chamilion colors to together. You cant lay this stuff on very lightly as in fog it. say You have a blue back plug to give the plug more life You can fogg pearl blue and fog chamilion blue on the side of the plug. then the belly could be a white or a pearl white and You can fog chamilion lilac on the lower sides. when done You have a plug that will jump to life. its actually fast when You have a run of plugs 25 on up and a few brushes ready to go or a quick cleen of Your brush. some colors I will fog wet also
  2. Chameleon colors can be used on light colors, I use some of these over a pearl white body, You can fog over the chamilion also with pearls but it takes time to get it down. i do alot of mixing and laying down colors over each other to get what I am after. note if You take a pearl green You can fog it very lightly and get almost the same color as the chamelion green. this is over a black plug btw. You should also try practicing fogging colors with pearl You will be amazed at what You can get. there really is no need to water down the chamilion, You dont need alot of it . I use iwata brushes with the .02 tip and a couple VL's 1 vl has the #2 tip and with time You wont need to swap out brushes if You get Your hand tech down with air brushing, it comes with time and many many plugs to be fast at multi colorded plugs
  3. you need a shop and need to toss all rags after wiping down the plugs. linseed = no cracking or swelling of wood
  4. a booger I see U here to on the lure to the right , I only made that one and it throbs real good. I have 100's to turn by spring so I wont be doing any plug swaps this winter. maybe in spring I can do a swap or some thing. thanks for the kind words on the plug:)
  5. boiled linseed oil mix and then when dry oil based primer= no bleeding and no swelling
  6. epoxy Your scew eyes in then coat Your lures, use a turning motor or one from a grille.
  7. husky I took a yozurie emporer and made one like it only larger. slip and I were down at sandwich creek at the mouth out on a bar and I gave Him one of the wooden bombers and I had that yobubba lure on and we both caught nice fish all night. I had the yobubba lure down the outer beaches and it got alot of fish. I took it out of the bag as it was the proto. there is a formula to making these swim no matter what type of lur it is. just think darter:)
  8. thanks Husky, I just did a search and ended up here. it turning season, then soon I will be doing the guide thing and start the madness all over again. I was real quiet on the boards about fishing But may to the 2nd week in august was awsome then it died and it picked up towards oct and I threw me back out on non stop fish at nauset, wow I can even say where im fishing:D but my lagrest was only 36lbs and have maybe 15 or so over 30lb. as the pigs ran through I could'nt fish as my back was killing me and still is. I ended fishing a few weeks ago on non stop 7lb fish was tossing a wooden bomber I made . I would post pics but dont you guys get yelled at here . i guess i could load some up to my web space. it is cool to see you making plugs outa foam. i have a plug i want to put into plastic, but not sure how to go about it or the $$$ it would cost ON The Needle fish. they are spossed to be worked slowly, do theyhave fresh water ones You can impart action on them , they are not spossed to be used like a popper. its more a slat water thing I guess. But maybe at some time of the year they could piss of the fish You guys fish for. If You get on the water magazine , I wrote a good article on how to use those plugs. I fish needles 90% of the time at night and have had bass to 45lbs and have lost a few up there. they are a big fish plug... here is some of the stuff I fish with. hope this works. needles work here are the bombers i make for my stash.
