  1. Actually, the color you are refering to is a Skirts Plus color in their Printed series P613 metallic green with black fish scale print...Charles may have it also but, Skirts Plus is who has it for sure. I have some myself. Good luck. Thanks, Stephen

    Crackled paint

Didn't work for me with rattle can enamel paint...just trying to see if it would. Crackle bottle says to use over acrylic paint. As long as you stick to acrylic type paint it should work. I bought Delta Crackle medium 2 oz. $1.99 and Folk Art crackle medium 4 oz $2.99..they were out of Deco Art 2oz. $1.99 at Hobby Lobby...IMO works easiest to just brush on and let dry...Delta says to not let completely dry...Hope this helps.
  3. Try googling duplicating machine...saw some on there a while back for around $200 - $300...may work for you.
  4. Why not use one of the mechanic magnets with a swivel head?
  5. Robbor, A guy on here, Randy(aka. Fatratz), shared this link with me to buy the polyethylene sheeting to make fluid bed cups. Hope this helps. Its like $24 for a 12"x12" piece. http://www.smallparts.com/products/descriptions/spe-peh-spp.cfm Use Part Number SPE-125/D Good luck, Stephen
  6. Hey BassAssault, I use a Benzomatic torch, forceps, 3" cup and fluid bed with powder paint. The candy yellow, Trans. Gold, black & white are my primary colors. Heat blade( no prep), dip, & hang for curing. Cook times for the blades are the same as for the other lures you powder paint, if you use that system.
  7. Thanks guys, Looks like I'll be trying the Spike-It.
  8. Mr. B I have not tried the Spike-It Blade dip either. I was not sure how durable it was on the blades...but that is an option I'll look into as well. Thanks,
  9. I am looking for the flo. red that are the Blakemore Roadrunner flo. red. in powder paint. I have the flame red from CSI but that is a little too orange. I hate to buy a pound of powder from CSI if I don't have to. I am willing to buy more but not sure what color to mix with the flame red to get the desired flo. red. Have any of you tried to match this color with other powder paint other manufactures line or mixed your own?
  10. Cadman, Thanks for the info. I'll look around and see what I can find.
  11. Anyone know where I could get some or who makes anodized spinnerbait and buzzbait blades...ie. chart, black and blue.
  12. What I did was to mix a small amount of JB Weld and to lay it in the wire slot groove. After it got nearly cured I dragged the wire through the slot removing nearly all that I put in the slot. Works great. Good luck.
  13. Mr. B. Thanks for the tip...will be trying your technique soon.
  14. Anyone have any gray flat living rubber they are willing to part with. Looking for the gray that is the color of light gray primer. Thanks, Stephen
  15. Hi guys and gals, My name is Stephen Pope and as you can see I just became a new member. I am a spinnerbait and jig making junky...as well as a crankbait fishing fanatic. From alot of your posts I can tell you all are just as consumed with making your own stuff. You all have a talent that many will benefit from due to your willingness to share ideas. I hope I may be able to contribute something worthwhile to the site from my trials and tribulations(screw-ups) . I may not do a lot of posting since most of my viewing of this site is from work. I have two wild kids at home and don't get a lot of puter time. Anyway, this is an awesome site and I can tell I will benefit immensly.
