  1. Drilled hole in bottom and put bbs in then tested, weight was right but it still turned over. Drilled above eyes and put bbs in head, that worked.
  2. Are you reading my mind or have you just been doing this forever? That was my next delema:filling the hole and painting the spot. SOLVED! Thank You!
  3. Wow! Skeeter were you right, the difference between 2 lures I tore apart. The new ones have 1/4 the weight in the nose and 3 bbs as compared to 15 in the other. Now to to drill and place bbs!
  4. thank you for the info. They were tested with the hooks on and a few of the guys useing them have tweeked the bottom hook right or left to get them to run straight. since they do float, I like the idea of cutting one then adding bbs, that will give it more rattle also. I think you saved my bacon.
  5. Thankyou for your reply TBait, they are plastic. I have a pic. I would think that the weight should be added to bottom front.
  6. I purchased 400 lures, the shape is exactly what we need. but the lure floats instead of sinks. It is a lipless crank similar to rattle trap or rattlin rapala. When pulled through the water they turn and come to the surface. How can I fix them, with out jury rigging them, so we are still able to sell them?
  7. Good luck in tracking him down I hope they nail him for you nathan. p.s. I will be getting an order to you in a month or so. James at Hooked
