  1. Thanks, the 2 1/2" aren't identical but the closest thing I have seen so far. I will give them a try.
  2. Its a small buzzbait, just 1/8 oz. Used mainly in small streams for smallmouth fishing. Not interested in tying skirts. Use this type for quick change in color. They fit tight with no problem in coming off. I make 2-300 per year to sell to my friends . Looking for the exact skirt pictured.
  3. Anybody know who makes these skirts? I can find them on Ebay except for the black/blue which is what I need. I can get most colors from Okiebugtom on Ebay. Another seller was beachesarefree but he is no longer on Ebay. Trying to find the manufacturer. Thanks Terry
  4. It was on a 3/8oz. S.O.B. knock off. The wire was perfectly paralel to the hook. Went up to a size 3 colo. blade and put a little angle on the top wire. I studied pictures of the SOB and noticed the bigger blade and slight angle. Thanks Terry
  5. I bought 400 tabs from Do-It-mold site and really liked them. For smaller orders I buy from den53 on ebay. Cheapest but only has about 30 colors. I bought 160 tabs and 100 collars tonight for $23 and $4 shipping. Most sites are $18 to $24 per 100. Terry
  6. I made several spinnerbaits for a client. They had a size 2 colorado blade and a size 4 willow. I used a size 3 clevis to attach the colorado to the wire. Client said the colorado did not spin unless it was reeled in fast. I know the holes in the clevis were large enough. Do I need to go down to a size 2 clevis or up to a size 4? Does is really matter? Is the #2 colorado hard to spin? Thanks Terry
  7. I have used roller swivels but only on large lures 1oz. and bigger that have size 6 blades or larger. You can get 100 nice BB swivels on ebay for $20. Just bought some and they are the same as spending $47 from a supplier. Terry
  8. WOW!!! Thanks for the quick reply. Not a complicated as I thought. Terry
  9. I collect old Rebel Maxi-R's and Mini-R's. Is there a good DVD or book that will explain the tools and types of paint needed to repaint these plastic lures? Thanks Terry
  10. I have purchase a bunch of inline buzzbait bodies. I tried making an eye at the end with needle nose and vise grips but it looks like crap. I am sure there is a tool out there that will do this much easier and better. Can anyone give me a suggestion. Thanks Terry
  11. Skeeter, I sent you a PM. Terry
  12. George, I am looking for size 2 and 3. I will send you a PM. Terry
  13. IMHO Walmart is better. I staple my spinnerbaits to a 6x4 index card and place them in the poly envelope. Walmarts fit while Hobby lobby I have to trim the card. Thanks Terry
  14. I have someone with a custom order and I cannot find the components needed. He wants a custom buzzbait with a 3 bladed metal prop. Strike King makes one and Bass Pro has them for sale. I have search the web for 2 days with no luck. Places that do not have them are Stamina, Barlows, Jannsnetcraft, Hagens, luremaking.com. Bubbajacks. Thanks Terry
