I just use nails
the heads on nails come in all sorts of sizes and you always have some in the house
dip the head of the nail and press on lure presto instant eye, let dry then use a smaller diameter nail for the pupil

I am talking about the hologram tape you you can but at luremaking.com it says you can apply to crankbaits as weel as spoon and it already has scales on it
anyone used the hologram foil tape on stick baits or cranks, how did it turn out, how did you apply meanning a strip down side or cut to fit bait and wrap, would you get the same look as mass produced hologram baits on the market

I recently switch from enamel paint thinned with laquer to acrylic (createx) since it seems to be popular and great colours
I cannot get same finish with this paint as compared to enamel with comes out decent like a spray bomb
my paints splatters a bit and is inconsistent
do I use higher air pressure or lower?
do i thin or use mix in botte (acrylic thinner or water)
I use a syphon fed external mix brush
any tips on how to get a gret finish would be gret
thanks
