  1. thanks for your tips guys!!! I just waited a week and the paint was still a little sticky, but as already said, not too much. I just recoated the lures following your advice. it worked out fine!!
  2. okay, I should have read this thing here first - too late for that last bait! I used e-tex and waited 2 days now. hung it in a 70+ warm room, but painted it colder. guess that was the problem. the bait is still kinda sticky, though not too bad. help me guys, what can I do now? could I just put on a second layer or do I have to get the old stuff off? if yes, how to do without ruining the painting?
  3. ... if I had built them myself, I wouldn't need the help from this site ... which baits do ya mean? maybe I can tell you sth about them.
  4. hello everyone here! I have just found this site & I'm impressed! Very cool stuff. I'm a german/american dual citizen, born in NJ, but living here for almost 30 years now. I was infected with this fishing virus as a little fellow at my uncle's place in NY who had a brook trout breed ... Happy to say, it never let loose since then! Main predators here are northerns, zander, perch and european catfish (yep, the BIG ones!). My favourite is pike fishing with jerks, twitch baits and gliders. Unfortunately these are about double to US-prices here in Germany! So why not build 'em myself?!? The great tutorials here should help! I started a fishing site (still in the making) at www.superspinner.carlson-net.de - in german, but anybody can understand the nice pics ... ;-)
