If I decide to get into this. Should I buy single or dual action? Internal or external? Which brush would you reccomend for someone who has never touched one?

I'm considering getting into painting crankbaits. I have some questions that I'm sure you have all answered a thousand times, such as what is a good air brush and compressor, but mainly, where do you get the raw crankbaits? Can I get blank baits like Rapala and Bandits?
