  1. I seem to remember something about volume being involved in this. I think given the same size of the mass, the lighter would have to be weighted to equal the weight of the heavier at the sinking point, so I think yes, so they would both have to be, say for instance 4oz given their particular size.
  2. Here are some 6" 2oz swimmers, fully sealed with envirotex, with some new paint for 05'. Cast very well for some reason, and can be fished at a crawl with a lot of action, very tight side to side, pivoting at the center line. Chartreuse/white killed them last season.

    so I made a set of the first 3 surf plugs I ever had, the originals are mangled beyond beleif, but I fished those plugs for years exclusively and lost count of how many fish they caught!
  4. Its 6" and 2 3/4oz, and swims like a demon at about 5', or it will do a slow roll on a slow retrieve. Thanks Mike, it was you who showed me the way!!
  5. Hello one and all, FNG here, but not new to plug building. Wanted to share a few photos of a hand carved I recently made, need some professional opinions.
