Does anyone know of a place near Birmingham, AL that would have lexan or other polycarbonate sheets

I am planning on trying my luck making some jigs and i have a few questions. Are there other companies out there other than Do-it that make molds? is it necesary to buy an electric melting pot? if not, what are some alternatives. i'd appreciate your help

I am looking to buy my first lathe to make some topwater baits, i was wondering if anyone has used a Jet Pen Lathe, or if it would be big enough. if not what would be the best lathe for making lures.[/b]
