  2. I have some Yammy daiquiri and I think I made one feeble attempt at copying the color, epic failure. I think it has some color, maybe from pearls
  3. I've used rtv to copy aluminum molds and made Ultra Cal molds from the rtv molds
  4. These are from my plaster injection molds I made from original baits, 5' Kalin and 4' Yamamoto
  5. It measures 3" in the mold, same as a Yammy 5," Kalin makes a 3" and a 5", Kalin 5 measures 3 1/4"
  6. I made one from a jerky shooter, just takes a little engineering,
  7. I've heard of using an electric can opener motor, never tried it
  8. Elmers and water last forever too and it's much easier to deal with than epoxy, I just add in a little food coloring so I can see what's been coated
  9. I would definitely try warming the mold first, always try the easiest cure first
  10. the ones done right are bullet proof.
  11. I made my own molds, the one on top is the 5" Kalin, they come out alright. I had to search through my collection of originals to find enuf factory grubs that weren't dented to make the mold

  13. MF original floats really well all by itself
  14. I used to use epoxy, 50/50 Elmers and water is just easier to deal with in my opinion, high temp engine paint works too
  15. They aren't spun, just injected
  16. Use hi temp engine paint for mold release between halves
  17. you don't need mold release
