Won't adding paint again if I should say when I mess up won't adding a couple layers of paint mess with the action of the bait or anything else ?

I only used 1 coat of that createx clear. Does that matter ?

All the work I'm talking about is before I use a seal coat. Since I'm not good at detail work, I want to be able to wash or wipe off detail work without having to repaint the enitire crankbait again.

I should have said that I'm only using it to cover my base coat so I wouldn't have to repaint the entire bait when I messed up on the detail work. I always finish a bait with Devcon 2-t. Or is there sonething else I should be using ?

I'm new to painting crank baits. I read a thread that stated that it's easier to use a top coat before you put scales or detail on a crank bait. I applied a clear coat and let it set for 24 hours before I painted on top of the clear coat, when I made a mistake I took a damp paper towel to lightly wipe the bait clean and the clear coat peeled off in spots ? ? ? ? What could I be doing wrong . . . . . . ? ? ? ? ?

Has anyone seen these DVD's ? Are they worth the money ? Is there a color wheel or some kind of guide to mixing createx paints ? Or is it just a matter of experimenting to get the colors you want ? Thank you,

Yes I'm using an airbrush, a Paasche VL. When you say misting, are you spraying farther away from the crankbait or using less air pressure ? Thank you,

I'm new to painting crank baits. I have a hard time mixing colors to come up with what I want. Could someone help me with the colors or what I need to mix to get them to make a crankbait in a bass color pattern ? Thank you,
