I have a high speed cable connection too and dis site is definatley the slowest on my 'pooter. It sucks cuz theres some good info on here.

Where could I get a nice block of balsa? How much does it normally cost? And how easily is it to carve by hand with an extremely, very very very sharp pocket knife? As you can tell, ive never used balsa before.

I went ahead and decided to use the plastic knife anyway Greg, so in you face! Just playin :-D But its the really strong kind of plastic and its crystal clear. Its not like the wimpy kind at school. And since i cut in in the shape of a small bill, it makes it even stronger.

But what about plexi-glass?

What about bamboo??

How much will Lexan cost?

What are some good lip materials for crankbaits? I was thinkin of usin plexi-glass and/or plastic knives. Are those OK to use?
