  1. Is this the one you're talking about Hazmail? Jap
  2. That is one sweet lil bass. I'm lucky to just get the lipped ones to swim.
  3. No problems! You thilnk ot loud quite a bit I noticed. I was just pointing out that the species have the coloratoin like a Midwest US fish. River browns here are a beautiful fish and can get very colorful like the brook trout. There was a discussion on another forum I belong to about the different coloration of the same species. Some believe it may be habitat but many believe it is a recessive gene showing up in the fish again. There were pictures in the discussion of two different lake run rainbows(steelhead), one had spots only on the back and just below the lateral line and the other had spots covering the whole side of the fish all the way on to the belly. Same species, just different coloration is what was confirmed by a Natural Resources officer on the board. As for the Avatar, I am going to love to watch him cry tonight. He is a marked kid now.
  4. The Brown looks like a lake run brown here in Michigan which has a differnt color than the river run brown. The Brookie looks like a river brookie from around this area.

  8. As a mod/admin from another site, I can tell you that there are people out there that ask for help immediately. They cannot wait ten minutes for a reply so they keep posting in the same thread begging for help. When it doesn't get answed they will start threads that are titled like this one. Some people need to learn patience. As for the mods on this site, they do a fine job. All you have to do is report the post(I know, I used the function recently and the thread is gone). The mods will get a warning that the thread has been reported. Then they make their decision on whether or not the post adheres to the rules. So just use the report function if something doesn't belong in a thread and let the mods/admin do their job. Thats whats their job description is. Don't beat them up over something stupid like this. It's just a little pin ***** compared to alot of the stuff that I have seen as a mod. I got a letter from a lady the other day demanding that I get her money back ($7190) from a deal that went sour with another member. I told her that's not my job and she needs to deal with him through the courts which is correct because our site is not a court of law.

    Short Fused

RadioShack.com - Cables, Parts & Connectors: Fuses: Automotive fuses: 3A Mini-Blade Automotive Fuse (3-Pack) Those ones. If it is, just go into the store and if they don't have them in stock ask them to order them for you.
  10. I have the 12 inch Craftsman bandsaw. The saw runs good but STAY AWAY from the craftsman blades and watch the roller bearings (took one back because the bearing fell apart after the first use). The one that came with the saw had about a 30 degree drift to it which makes it extremely fun to try to fine tune it. I ended up running a sharpening stone over the edges to cut down on the drift and make it somewhat useable on softwoods. Then I went to a timberwolf blade (you can custom order by calling them and they will ask what your needs will be, I chose a 4 tpi resawing blade), the drift is less than 5 degrees on the one I got and it spits out the chips with less pitch build up. The saw also runs a lot smoother.
  11. Yeah, I know about that thread in the tutorial section as I had to point it out to him once. Was just thinking that you would be able to watch it alot better by using a heat gun vs submerged in hot oil.
  12. That post about the cd's has my wheels turning, hmmmm..maybe get rid of my old scratched cd's. I wonder how well a heat gun will work if you put the cd in the press first. This has got me pondering.
  13. Oops meant the Rookie. Brain scrambled from morels and helping on a morel board.
  14. I'm sure pooley knows where to get wood! I love his smart azzed answers for everything. I get most of mine from the forest. I cut and season it myself. Mostly northern white cedar. Also some basswood, maple, ash, oak, and cherry that I got from a friend..
  15. Also used as a chip brush in the metal working industry.
