  1. Very nice, looks like you have been busy.
  2. Hey Rookie, I have been watching your lures sell on e-bay for months. Everyone of them look amazing. Just figured it out when you mentioned your user name "taterhog". Awsome work man. Maybe some day I will be able to paint half that good. Oh by the way your crappie pattern is killer.
  3. Wow, b75nweav I'm gonna say you won big bass in that tournament. Very nice fish.
  4. Hello just got off a local farm pond, and had to show someone a couple pictures I took of the first bass I had caught on a bait I had repainted. The picture is actually the second fish caught, the first one got off. The first was a crappie. The second one held on, and let me snap a shot of it, and put it back. I painted the bait a few months back, it is a mann's pogoshad. I think it's favorite bait now.
  5. Thanks, maybe I will keep my eye on e-bay. Someone may have bought a bunch cheap if they were discontinued.
  6. Thank all of you for the input, this narrows it down for me.
  7. Hello, was at a local farm pond the other night with a buddy worm fishing, I was using a culprit worm, and my buddy was using a lizard. After 3 or 4 fish hit my worm they were pretty well tore up, and had to be replaced. But my buddy caught just as many on just one of these lizards, and never had to change because of being tore up. He only had a few in his box (or so he said) and was unsure where he had bought them. We have a Bass Pro Shop about 10 min. away, and checked there a couple days ago with no luck. After we checked all the aisles, we asked a guy for help and he said maybe it was discontinued. I got the idea to put a pic. on here, hoping someone could help me out. Thanks
  8. They work excellent, I myself wondered if anyone else had used one. Got one for Christmas a couple years ago, never was used till I started repainting a few lures. I actually have two now, my bother in law gave his up after the sliding glass was broke off the front. Works great for me just noticed bigger lures have to be clipped a little different, so they don't hit as they turn. And for the heat setting, watch out. I made the mistake of pushing the wrong setting, and wondered what that smell was. Well those babies get hot fast. If I would not have caught it and shut it down quick I believe I would have had a meltdown. It also gets alot of laughs, my buddies can't believe I spin lures in a chicken turner. Good luck
