  7. try this: go to youtube and search barncat99. click on the top picture and I think that will show the test tank video
  8. I think that it might require some full time editing work as there is always going to be some halfwit wanting to post a video of his dog humping his leg but I think it would be useful especially for people who are having problems with the bait performance.
  9. made it from plywood and 2x4's that I already had. assembled with Beats Nails adhesive and screws and then double caulked all the inside joints. then I coated it inside with a spray on vinyl coating. made a camera view port on one end to shoot video and put a drain faucet in the other end that I hook up a garden hose to drain it. works good but I need a cover as dust and stuff gets in and floats on the top. idiot cat also will balance herself and drink out of it. never mind she has a bowl of clean water in the house!
  10. so photos of the lure testing tank I made would be ok but not a video of actually using it to check the swimming action of a bait?
  11. is there a video posting option that I am not aware of? will a You tube link work
  12. PVC jointed bait with through wire. 1. form wire 2. heat wire and place in position 3. immediately slap the two halves together and hold until wire cools the two halves will remain together until you separate them. utility knife works good.
  13. get a utility knife with the replaceable blades. change blades as soon as they start getting dull.
  14. another pursuit ( aka, something to spend money on ).
  15. thanks for the replys. went ahead and just poured it on! worked out fine! looks great! now just have to wait for it to cure and trim up the bottom.
  16. I want to coat this shift knob with envirotex and wondering if it will work if done with the knob in this upright position. I know I will need a catch pan for the runoff but I'm concerned as to whether it will coat evenly. any help appreciated. thanks, john

big Muskie bait! 12", 8.9 oz.
  19. I have only used acrylic paint. they dry quick enough so I can do it all in one sitting. enamels would take longer to set so they may smear easier IMO. experiment !
  20. use a deerfoot stippling brush with VERY little paint and lots of practice.
  21. I just hang my baits with no problem unless I have put the d2t on too thick.
  22. just drill out the area and epoxy in a plug of PVC. I've done this before with no problem and you are not going to do anything to effect the buoyancy of the PVC. Devcon 5 minute !
