Now that I have discovered how an A-Rig is made by x-raying the original how would I make the plastic heads. I suppose I need a mold, but have no idea where to start. Just making a few for my use and would like to make them similar to the real thing.

If you want to know how the A-Rig is put together in the head this is what I discovered. I was able to take an x-ray of an original, in the head there is a crane swivel, one end you tie to then on the other end of the swivel there is an split ring, with the five wires twisted in loops just like the bottom end of the wires where the snaps are for attachment for lures. These loops are put on the split ring then cast in resin. I could have just cut one apart but thin I would have been out 30.00 bucks with nothing to fish with.

Can someone tell me how to mod. this lure so that it will wake. I saw somewhere that Mark Davis heated the bill and changed the angle so that the bait will not dive, I tried this but I either bent the bill too much or not enough. Now the bait stays high in the water but has no action. Please tell me what to do.
