  1. I've been looking for some of the Zoom ultravibe speed worms in bulk and haven't had much luck. Does anybody know of a mold or anybody making anything close. I've looked at a lot of molds online but haven't run across just what I'm looking for. thanks

    Bandits

I think the older Bandit crankbaits were put together in Sardis MS. I know that I can look at one of them and tell the difference. A lot of people(me included) bought up some of the older bandits and simply won't buy the newer ones. I still have places I can get the older baits and pick up a few along. The older baits have "made in Sardis MS" on the package and the triple grip hooks. Also the seam where they are put together isn't as smoothe as the newer baits and most of the time the paint just looks different.
  3. I have a idea for a bait and need a little information on just how to proceed. I can draw the bait to scale and pretty much know what I want it to look like but don't know how to proceed from there. The bait is similiar to the Little George style of lead bait. I guess what I'm asking is about people who make custom molds for lead. I might even be interested in some type of production mold to make ten or so at the time.

    Super R

I've had good luck on Ebay finding stuff that isn't being made anymore. You can do a search and save it and if one hits ebay they will send you an email.

Are you the same Joe S that is on the BPS forumn.
  6. I need some tips on painting scales on my crankbaits. I have some material with the holes in it but I need to know how you guys are using it. How are you getting it on the round surfaces and how are you keeping it from moving around. Please use as much detail as possible. thanks
  7. I use Gammy EWG hooks on all my lipless baits. I usually put a red up front and a bronze in the back. I just pick them up at BPS or local. I really think the EWG helps bass stay hooked up on the lipless baits. I would also use the Mustad triple grip. It is a good hook also.
  8. I just painted my first baits and put the Devcon 2 ton epoxy on them and put them on my turner. After they had set up I noticed a few thin or very small bare spots where I didn't get much clear. If I want to put another coat of Devcon on do I need to sand or just coat over the first coat.
  9. I have a Paache VLS and I have a few general questions I'm hoping someone can help me with. I'm brand new to this but I have been playing with it for a day or so. My main question is about the adjustment of the needle adjusting sleeve and if this adjustment will affect how much paint comes out or the pressure at the tip. Is there a correct way to determine how to adjust this item. My compressor is putting out about 40 psi. How are you guys regulating the pressure back if you want to paint at a lower pressure. Is it done with a air regulator or with the gun. thanks
