  1. I live in arkansas but on the other side of the state. I know you can go to AGFC.com and get the fishing report for it. I believe its a guide service that puts in the report.
  2. well i've made a few jigs, they are my absolute favorite bait! The ones I have made I bought the skirt separate. They're kinda cheap to make. I bout it by the foot but i can't remember how much it was, alot cheaper than going to wal-mart and buying a jig though . As much as I fish with em I like to experiment alot with different colors. You'd be amazed at the colors of jigs you catch fish on!
  3. I know the soft plastics I have seen this color have one side almost a junebug purple and the other a pumpkinseed color.
  4. Tubes and worms... in my opinion for the places I fish Glad to see another Arkie by the way!
  5. Yeah, I know it can't be becuase I have their one piece tube mold and it ain't fun . But I also have one of their senko molds thats got a flat side. Its pretty good, it only has about a quarter of the bait flat. Sometime soon I hope to get one of Bob's or Del's senko molds though. My guess is if you put it in from the top would be the best way and push it down into the silicone. I don't know if it would form right around the bait if you left it on the bottom.
  6. Thanks alot guys! I got all the paint off and I'm fixin to put my touches on em. I really appreciate it!
  7. Ok thanks. I'll try that. I tried to scrape it off with a knife but that didn't work:mad:
  8. I'm a soft plastics guy and I'm outta my league here. I was told an extremely hot colored RatLTrap for a lake I'm fixin to fish a tournament in. The problem is nobody around here sells em and I really don't want to order from BPS for 2 of em. I can paint em myself I just need some advice on how to get the chrome off
  9. I know you can get the silicone from Lurecraft, but me I found a toutorial when I first started that showed how to make a mold out of the silicone you get in a tube from Wal-Mart or a hardware store. I made a few molds using this and it worked just fine.
  10. Its caused by the particals seperating, I work with oil all the time and it happens. We got some in at work last week in a 55 gal drum that was frozen like that, just put a heater in front of it for a few hours and it goes back to normal. Nuke'in it should be fine.
  11. Well I have the LC mold but I have never fished with the original to tell ya! It does have some action but I don't know if its as good.
  12. most of mine cure in a couple of hours. One that size to be safe i'd let cure for a day maybe 2 on the safe side
  13. to start off with i'd stay with any one piece mold and then work my way into the two piece. Senko molds however are pretty easy for beginers.
  14. i believe mine to be SS. Don't know for sure but they are shinier and harder than aluminum i believe. I just bought it last month if thats any help
