I've actually been using a tip I got from Rayburn. I started using pop sticks to secure the netting instead of clothes pins. It works out really nice. This bait came primed with a chrome plated finish.

The hook is a #1 Owner and is back about as far as I dare put it. It is larger and rides further back on the bait than what it apears in the picture. As I stated in the other posts I had to add length to the lip and weight to the rear of the bait to get the right action. But I was thinking about installing a small colorado spinnerbait blade on the rear section [where the weight is] to create more drag. I was curious if this would creat more drag thus allowing the lip to be shortened??

  3. I use a Iwata HPC Plus and an Iwata Hi-line brush. Since I don't have a quick change conection I get lazy and use the Plus most of the time. I used the PS900's for a while, but the hi-line brush is a way better tool. On this bait I only used the Plus.......

  4. Thanks fellers, I've never been able to paint a bluegill or baby bass. Between the stripes and colors it took about 6 baits to get to this point. Another 1/2 dozen trys and I may be able to paint a baby bass.
