  1. Hey! I recognize that style, I said to myself when clicking on the picture. It looks like the lures of that fin! Having a look at the name I see it is him. Glad to see you joined the forum Halme. Moi moi
  2. Guys, im looking for a descent drop out spray over here. Please drop me some brand names to look for because currently im out of luck. We do have a Midway sweden here but they don'carry the release spray.
  3. flippinfool. I use high temp silicone in some of my molds. It works great and I could'nt do without it. I even put the silicone in direct contact with the molten metal with no problems. However, I do not use lead but Bismuth Tin. Pouring temp is probably no more than 250-300°C (heat setting 4 on lee pot). You should have no problems using silicone away from the cavity. Fill the cavity, wait until the surface just starts to dry up and then press down a hook (easier to remove hook if surface's a bit dry first).

Do you mean the june bug blades? It's not them. This is crazy. There is a very limited number of suppliers yet I can't find them.

Hello I'm sure I saw colorado and willow blades somewhere that were bent just before the hole so they could be used like an inline blade. Straight on the wire no clevis needed. Of course I can't find where it was. Have you seen them? where? Thanks
  6. If you powder paint your blades I would ask WTP if they could make you a roll of clear tape. I find that that tape protects the blades better than any clear coat. Very easy to work with and trim too.
  7. Alright. Seems kinda funny considering rods lure size recommendatons and so. Anyway, thanks for all your wisdom in this thread.
  8. One other thing I come to think of. When weighting a SP is it the weight of the complete setup with blades that counts or just the body. Yesterday I took a 3/8oz DO-IT Ultra minnow body and the weight was almost doubled with the blades on. Is that still a 3/8 or is it a 3/4 now?
  9. Yes I agree. Good answer indeed. I think the Worth large eye swivel with one ring already attached looks very interesting.
  10. Things about spinnerbaits that does'nt much sence to me. How come ball bearing swivels are always used on the end blade. I can't see how the extra cost can justify the small if any, performance gain than if using a good quality barrel. Why is the loop attaching the swivel to the wire arm never nicely wrapped closed? Why is there never a collar for securing plastic trailers. Why in the world is the R-bend so popular when it leads to so many hang-ups when not tying the line directly to the wire. Of course there is probably exceptions but the above seems to be more or less a standard from what I have noticed.
  11. Congrats to a great perch on an interesting lure.
  12. Thank you. Very nice of you uploading the photos flatsrat76.
  13. What are the illusion? There is no images or descriptions of it on their website so I asume it adds some effects yes?

    Spraying D2t

Morning, I belive I have read somewhere here about airbrushing Devcon two tonner. But is that even possible considering the huge viscosity of the stuff? If so, what kind of airbrush would one need for the task?
  15. I only paint the brass beads BLT. Need the brass for the weight.
