I got a tube mold with the rattle cavity from him off eBay a couple weeks ago. It was in my mailbox 4 days later. Nice quality mold for sure.

All powderpaints does list watermelon vien. Now i see a $50+ powder paint order in the near future. Haha.

I have been using store bought Gamakatsu Football 24 jig heads for throwing spider grubs after a freind crushed me using these very light wire hooks a couple weeks ago. haha I have been trying to figure out what hook these are made with so I can pour my own. The closest thing I can come up with is a Gamakatsu 114 Premium Arberdeen Hook, anyone know what hook they use ??? Thanks

I just got Bear's medium injector about a month ago and it works great for me. I used Janns injector before with disastrous results and I was very happy to see how well Bears injector works. I really like how the molds inject very easily without much pressure at all. Injecting baits is obviously a little more hazardous than pouring but even so most of the accidents occur from doing something stupid.

The last few years I havent been fishing tubes as much as I used to but they are vey easy to make. Bojons video is a great way to learn, after watching it you'll be able to make some sweet tubes and pump them out quickly.

It will work just fine. I take all my used plastics and recycle them into black. The mixed plastics are harder to pour than new plastic, but its great to make jig trailers.

I have this mold and it makes a great bait. I have been using it as a trailer on football jigs recently.

Here are a couple pictures of smelt that came from smallmouth spitting them up.

I am looking for a good recipe to imitate a smelt. Will be making various drop shot baits to fish in places where smelt are the primary forage fish. I have messed around with some whites and silver fleck but havent come up with anything I really like yet. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated Thanks Matt

I have used epoxy in the past, but now I just put a coat of clear nail polish over the eyes. I will lose the jig way before the eyes fall off.

I have about 200 or so black skirt strips that are pretty hard and sticking together in the plastic bag I have them stored in. I checked some of my other colors and a few other colors are also hard and starting to stick together. Is this normal ? What is the best way to store your skirt material so it does not start to go bad?

What are you guys using for rattles on Jigs? I have been using the ones that attach on the skirt band but I dont really like them because they tend to fall off when a fish jumps and they are too expensive. I like the little glass worm rattles but havent found a way to make them stay glued to the hook shank well enough to stay on.
