Thanks, I'll check the bottom of the container again for a mixture problem. I'm using the 1 gallon size container and didn't notice any residue in the bottom. I'll also try storing it upside down in the future and see if that helps. I appreciate the suggestions.

Yea, I am mixing it really well. I thought the first few times that mixing may have been the problem, but I sure that's not the problem now. I know I can eventually find the right mixture rate, but trying to find someone that can save me some time and money w/o alot of trial and error.

I am having 2 problems pouring right now. I'm trying to match the green pumpkin color comparable to store bought. Does anyone have a good mixture ratio that has worked well for them? Also, my plastics are are coming out too soft. I am using the Lurecraft medium formula 502. I am also using Lurecraft hardener. I am currently mixing hardener at a rate of 2oz. per 16oz. of plastic and according to the instructions on the hardener's label. The end result is still too soft, so I was curious if anyone has a good ratio that is working fro them? Thanks.

I just bought some RTV to make molds for some soft plastics and used it for the first time last night. I noticed this morning that the baits slipped down into the silicone too far. Should I wait a certain period of time before placing the bait into the material so that it has a harder consistency? I'm a little unsure of the best process. I was left having to cut around areas that had gone too deep and had silicone cure over top of where I should be pouring.

I just started dipping my own tubes and I'm having a problem with them bulging in areas rather than a smooth even body. I really don't know the process and obvioulsy I'm getting it wrong. I'm using 1/4 and 5/16 aluminum rods for the dips. If anyone could give me a quick step by step I would really appreciate it.
