Me too . The lil’ nasty is a awesome hook but I would like a little heavier hook in the same bend.

Tackle warehouse has 3 sizes 2/0-4/0. The way I found them was under the lure customization then jig hooks

I was wondering if anyone knows the size difference in the wire diameter and/or length of this two hooks

Got to youtube and look at some of smalljaw's videos it helped me a lot.

I do a lot of fishing with smaller swimbaits (3-4"). I want to get the poison tail mold but I can't find a hook that goes to 2/0 or 3/0 size that is a light wire hook that is a 28 or 30 degree bend. Can I take a 60 degree bend light wire hook and straighten it out to fit the mold?

I'm gettin startedin tying my own bucktail jig. I got vise, bobbin, bucktail, and thread.Guy at fly tying shop gave me G.S.P. 200 thread said it would be strong enuff but when i start to tightin down it frays and breaks. can anyone recomend a stronger thead?

i'm using d2t for both and thanks for the tip for putting glue on the threads i'm going to try that

my first bait that i'm making is a topwater prop bait.do i need to pre drill the holes for the screw eyes before i put d2t on the bait?

I wanted to know from someone if teak oil will seal my wood baits and if i can paint over it with no problems?thanks for any help for a newbie
